I’m excited to share that I have been awarded a Summer Fellowship through Monmouth University. I’ll be developing a new series of polychromed relief sculptures called, Oceanic Entanglement. These reliefs will extend the formal and conceptual investigations of my life-size sculpture Rift (2025, pictured below), forming an architectural environment that surrounds the figure and situates it within an oceanic field.

Through this new body of work, I’m exploring ocean entanglement as an aspect of the ecological self. The reliefs center on gestures of hands, feet, torsos, … emerging and submerging within waveforms, and will integrate both handmade clay and digitally scanned and 3D-printed elements.
